Easter Bunnies

My favorite part about this cake, was making all the little figurines out of fondant. I did this cake for a very cute little girl whose birthday was close to Easter time.

She wanted raspberry frosting. How do you create/find raspberry frosting?! Well, we simply tried adding some raspberry extract, which actually came out to be pretty tasty.

Though, adding any kind of sweetened preservative, such as raspberry jam, will make any frosting taste fresh, incredibly delicious and sweet! Just sayin. Strawberry jam/jelly added to buttercream frosting is one of my favorites! Also, cherry jelly mixed in with buttercream frosting tastes great with devil's food cake, and any kind of chocolate cake if you appreciate the cherry/chocolate combo.
