Cub Scout Court of Honor

My home ward was having their annual Court of Honor for the scouts, so they asked me to do a sheet cake and some cupcakes for the event! It was a FUN cake to do, but my favorite part was watching all the cub scouts scarf down the cupcakes and run around with blue teeth from the frosting. :)

Isn't he just the cutest little boy scout?! Little Logan in these photos give an authentic touch to this cake and cupcakes!

Alta's Birthday Cake

This is definitely a personal favorite of mine.
Pucker up for some adorable fish!

I think this was one of my very favorite cakes I've ever done.
It must be because I LOVE animals and I love incorporating cute ones into cakes. The fish are made of cake too, so everything on this cake was edible except for the fins on the fish. (Those were easily made from craft foam).

An adorable cake was needed for an ADORABLE little 1 year old girl named Alta. She was seriously the cutest baby girl I've ever seen.

Abby the Runner Girl

I ran with this amazing athlete in high school, Abby Larson was (and still is) a phenomenal runner.
She asked me to do her birthday cake one summer!
And of course she wanted it to be running themed.
Modeling the shoes out of fondant was my favorite part of the cake.

Also just to note, this cake was done back in the Summer of 2009. So it was a while ago and I've come a long way since!
