BYU Football

Yes! That is right, Brigham Young University, represent. This was a cake I was asked to do by the mother of one of the football players currently playing on the BYU football team. What a FUN cake this was!

I even got to hang on to one of the official BYU helmets for a while as a model! This felt like a pretty big deal.

This cake was not only fun to do, but man was it one of the most challenging cakes I've done. It appears to be such a simple cake to do, but when I really got down to the technicalities of it, wow, I definitely learned from trial and error pretty quick.

Note: the cake was made from a ball pan, and I just eyeballed and carved the cake to take the shape of the football helmet.
